About This Text
Composed: c.1787 CE
In 1787, delegates from 12 of the 13 States of the United States met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to discuss possible changes to the current system of government, the Articles of Confederation. The delegates that were selected are listed here as well as their commissions to serve at the Convention as representatives of their states. Also listed are the dates attended by each delegate, some of whom attended for the whole Convention, others who left early, as well as which would sign the eventual Constitution that the Convention produced.
